A Wood Destroying Insect Inspection or WDI/WDO is a vital part in buying, selling or refinancing a home. It can save you thousands of dollars in remediation and/or repair. This inspection is performed within 30 days of a real estate closing to find the 5 types of wood destroying insects found in Virginia that may be present. That includes the Eastern Subterranean Termite, Old House Boring Beetles, Powder Post Beetles, Carpenter Bees and Carpenter Ants. Areas of inspection can include the crawl space or basement, attic, garage, exterior, interior and any detached structures depending on the loan and/or mortgage provider. Waiving this inspection is not recommended in the slightest and can easily be scheduled using the button below.
